SFU Math Catcher Stories & Movies
To promote mathematics among Indigenous learners, SFU Math Catcher created a series of stories with mathematical themes. These stories are based on the storytelling tradition of Indigenous peoples. Stories have been translated into several Indigenous languages as well as French.
SFU WWEST Women in Science and Engineering Card Deck
A card game which focuses on awesome women in STEM, as well as issues pertaining to the challenges around gender equity. The playing cards & instructions are free to download/print, or purchase from the SFU Westcoast Women in Engineering, Science, and technology (WWEST) website.
Khan Academy Free Educational Platform
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. Includes various lessons in mathematics and science. You can also download the Khan Academy Kids app.
